Is anyone hunting in eastern NY? Thats where I hunt and I am hoping to spend the day up there tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone knew if they were still rutting up there? I had set a new stand up there and havent had a chance to hunt it. I will spend the entire day in it if I have to. But would like it to be more like a hr!!! LOL!!

Then I did sum ratling and a nice buck came in but it was a 50 yards. Then on the 13th I onley seen two does. I would say give it a try. wink.gif

I seen them till 11:00 am, then that was it. But it was best from 7:00 to 9:00 am. (privet land by pine plains). If you are going for one day I would hunt all day.

Thanks for all the reports!! Keep um coming! I looked at the weather and it looks like it is going to be cooler tomorrow so I held off on the trip today. I am going tomorrow with hopes the cooler weather will keep um moving longer. Its down to the wire for me with the bow in southern zone. So far to confirmed kills, branch and a tree!
