Day 4...Monday Oct 19 I got in to my treestand at 6 am it was cold and windy temps in the low 30's. The rain we had all weekend stopped yesterday afternoon, I didn't get wet like Friday and Saturday. But the woods are very wet, you have to keep on you toe's. Deer will walk right up on you and cant even wont hear them. At about 7:00am I had deer walk past about 50 yards out, with the low light and heavy brush I couldn't tell the sex. This is In-Line season in Pa. and with the
In-line you can only take a Doe. I heard a few shoot's coming from the State Game Land, someone scored.....On the afternoon hunt I got to the stand at 4pm and sat to dark I didnt see shit. -------------------- |

Think about going to all day sits come the rut. Many mature bucks will bed down before dawn, wait til about 11AM and then make their rounds, and bed by 2PM before going to feed after dark. They do this because they receive the most pressure from hunters at dawn and dusk...

Liberals think they can pass a law eliminating guns and nuclear weapons, but teenagers having sex is completely beyond our control. Hunter. |

I was in my stand today thinking of that. The rut in Pa starts the first week in Nov. Thats when I sit all day. I used my buck tag so hope, that he chase's a Doe my way.

My uncle shot and missed, again, in PA today. Currently they are searching for it hoping that he hit it, but the service at their camp is bad and I haven't heard anything else.

Day 5 Tuesday I had deer move past my stand this morning at 6:30, it was to dark to shoot. This past weekend Jr. had them in before dark. I'll head out in the morning and sit to 9:30, then I'm going to walk around and try and jump them up. I going to take my In-Line, hope my plan works.
