While talking to my friend about hunting, what open whats not he suggested that him and i get into to trapping. I said i would look into it and let him know. I do have a chance to get 17 traps for $50 , hubby has a few. we would have o take a course for it and its free. we would have to see before hand if there is still anyone interested in buying the furs, how much are they worth and such. blah blah blah. Of course husband thing i shouldn't do it telling me how much hard work it is and how much work you have to put into it and for that it wont be worth what you get out of it. just not sure why he is being so negative about what i want to do. my brother thinks i do too much with out him. Karl and husband disagree on what money we might get. I know whats his name use to trap but have any of you? what might i be getting into.

idk about the rest of the animals but i know coyote is bringin in somewhere around 10-15 bucks whole and tops 20 if its skinned..

there was another forum where a guy listed a place upstate that buys furs.. if u decide to do it and want the info. let me know and ill see if i can track the thread..

i will tell you this.. skinning coyotes plain out sucks.... its not easy and if u do get a few .. the warmer the corps the better... once they cool down.. it gets harder...

the tail is tricky and so are ears and lips ....

they look like aliens without skin on em..
