I think some of you mentioned a while back you were bowlers.
My daughter bowls for the Girls Varsity HS team. This week was a big week for the team, with matches Mon, Tues, 2 game Tournament Wed, and another match on Thurs.
She wanted to get a 700 series, and has been bowling pretty good, so we thought it was possible..
Monday she went 235- 223- 192 for 650 series
Tuesday she went 233-214-258 for a 705 series
Wed she went 161-216
and Thursday, she went 234- 267- 300 for an 801 Series!!
The lanes stopped in her 9th frame, and everyone gathered around the set.
Once she released that 12th ball, the joint exploded!
With the end of her second game and the third, she went 16 strikes in a row!!
It was the FIRST 300 in league competition in the history of Suffolk County Girls Bowling, and the only 800 series thrown so far in the varsity hs boys & girls leagues..
Her average skyrocketed to 227.73!!
We're so proud of her, & the coach told us he only got 3 hours sleep last night from being so wired up!!
