PA Sunday Hunting Bill to Be Proposed

I read in the recent edition of Pennsylvania Outdoor News that a Sunday hunting bill for PA is going to be proposed. Depending upon how you view Sunday hunting, support for Sunday hunting in PA is gaining more support. The article said when the idea was first brought up however many years ago, it was shot down quickly with little to no support. The divide is now at roughly 50-50 and apparently viewed favorably enough to present the idea to the PAGC for consideration but the Farmers Association is reported to be admantly against the idea and ready to fight to block the bill even making to the PAGC desk.
Sooner or later, there will be Sunday hunting in Pennsylvania and we will be out of the dark ages. I believe we are one roughly 10 states or less in the country that still prohibits Sunday hunting for the most popular game animals (deer, turkeys, pheasants, rabbits, grouse, migratory, bears). I don't know how often I would take advantage of the opportunity to hunt Sundays but I would like to have the option to decide for myself. For now, we are held to the standard of an antiquated blue law that is still on the books because somebody thinks Sunday hunting will turn our state into a den of vipers. However, I'm guessing the same people who oppose Sunday hunting also boycott going to any stores that are open on Sundays and refrain from watching any sporting events that take place on Sunday and refuse to go to an amusement park with their families........because all these locations have numerous people who are.....GASP ......WORKING....on a Sunday.
There is no reason for this law to be in effect any longer. It needs to go away.

Who's with me? I give 5-1 odds if they allow sunday hunting in PA, the George's move there permanently!
