Title: Doe in the Freezer!
YukonJack - October 5, 2009 01:51 AM (GMT)
I shot a doe at 5:10 tonight. I was shaking like a leaf in a hurricane, and I'm still surprised that she didn't spot me. She walked in to 9 yards and I put a one lung & heart shot on her. Arrow blew through the far shoulder and bent the tip on a rock. She went 100 yards and piled up:

After a quick drag with some help by the homeowner:

She weighed in at 90 lbs. field dressed, estimated to 125 lbs. live weight.

Thanks all. The AlphaMax has Spoken! First kill with the new bow.
As I'm sure you all noticed, I don't care about blood in my pictures. People make a big deal about cleaning off the blood for pictures. Blood is a part of the story here.
Besides- it's some AWESOME lung blood! Lung blood makes me happy!
