i swear by my rage blades never had a problem yet . been useing them the past two seasons and agin this season . took 4 deer with them, never failed yet .

These are the heads uses in one of the "Blood Fountian' youtube video posted up on here, under something about bloodtrail.. If you look at the body of the head, its REALLY fat compared to your arrow.. Although it will lessen penetration, I think an animal spraying a garden hose worth of blood out every heartbeat out a fat wound channel is about to meet the creator no matter what.. The design doesn't look like it will fold forward, but Ive been told they do.. Next time you guys are at Cabela's see if you can get a look at them to see if they'll be NY legal.. As for being mechanical, the beuaty of these is, its exactly like a fixed 3 blade if the thing fails to open..
