Went up this weekend with the girlfriend to relax and do alittle shooting with the bow. Had 7 different bucks outside the kitchen window on friday night. The apples are falling off the trees quickly over there and the deer are eating them up like crazy. out of the 7 bucks two were nice 8's and the rest were 4s' and spikes. Wow they look hard already.

Yea guess they should start getting hard soon. I was hoping they would grow a little more before the season but not too much time left. Im going back up this weekend going to check the cameras hopefully i got some decent pictures. Really cant wait for the season to start. I think im taking off oct 1st and 2nd for the bow opener in suffolk.

Where you hunting in Suffolk MBucks.

I have hunted Otis pike Rocky Point. But since all the public spots are loaded with hunters i have travled out alittle further to Sarnoff. I saw some good bucks out there last year so that is probably where i will be for the first two days. I have yet to harvest a buck out on long island but hopefully this will be my year.

Well if you end up in RP on opening week let me know. I'll have you over for a beer after the hunt.

Sounds like a plan. Hopefully we will both have a nice buck to show also.
